Fair process before easy conclusions
The principles used to plan, moderate, publish and correct Talk Away programmes.
Neutral moderation
The moderator does not declare a winner or require the audience to adopt a preferred conclusion. Neutrality concerns the process; unsupported claims may still be challenged.
Evidence and attribution
Material factual claims should be attributable to credible sources. Guest claims are presented as the guest’s claims, not Talk Away’s institutional position.
Community standards
Disagreement is welcome. Threats, targeted abuse, dehumanising language and deliberate disruption are not. Participation may be limited to protect a serious conversation.
Language and transcripts
Programmes may move between English, Urdu and occasionally another language. Transcripts are published only when accuracy is sufficient; partial or unavailable transcripts are labelled honestly.
